I think I asked you this once, but what medium do you use for your sketches? I received a drawing pad as a Christmas gift, just 60 lb. all-purpose 9 x 12 paper. Now I’m thinking of going to the figure drawing sessions offered by the local museum’s art education program, but I don’t want to use charcoal. Too messy, gets smeared, even in a folder.

For figure drawing conte crayons because they are a little waxy like humans. I can’t hold chalk or charcoal. It gives me the shivers because I can feel the moisture leave my fingertips.
