    Is this one of the featured pieces from your Ersatz Lascaux show? It looks familiar, but that might just be because it’s Marilyn Monroe.

    These are new although they have similarities to “Cincinnati”, the triptych made up of Skyline, Cut in the Hill and Red Machine(see Paintings) which was in the Ersatz Lascaux Show. The main differences being the overused images (Warhol and Mondrian) and a scrappier more patchworked surface which is hard to see in a photograph. There are three more in this series but only two are finished.

      Old or new, I really dig the way the black square with the white curves in it creates the right side of Marilyn’s hair.

      Yes, I used the word “dig”. I’m trying to bring it back.
